Receptionist / Customer Service Representative:
SUMMARY
Dakota Energy is seeking a motivated individual to serve as the first point of contact for Dakota Energy members and visitors while providing exceptional customer service, account support, and administrative assistance. This position plays a key role in maintaining positive member relationships and supporting daily office operations.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet and assist members, visitors, and callers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer questions regarding electric accounts, billing, and Cooperative services.
- Process service orders, disconnects, reconnects, and other account-related transactions.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and maintain office supplies.
- Assist with meeting preparation, special events, and Annual Meeting activities.
- Support records management, auditing processes, and various administrative functions.
- Promote positive member relations and uphold Cooperative policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and telephone skills.
- Proficient with computers and standard office equipment.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and pay close attention to detail.
- Professional, positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
